We can also arrange an art therapist, storyteller therapist, etc. A great way to relax with friends and enjoy special time for you!
Group Pampering Day
I am delighted to be able to offer this testimonial. Seven female practitioners including myself who are members of the Clinical Department from Tumai PHO were blessed with the opportunity to attend a group pampering day facilitated by Pamela Meekings-Stewart as part of a team building event. We were also offered and partook in a painting and drawing class with Yvonne at the same venue at the same time. A ‘very substantial” organic lunch was also included in our day.
To say we had a delightful day is an understatement, immediately as we entered at “The Woolshed “the atmosphere embraced an essential empathy for each of us as new clients. Every member felt relaxed and in a safe environment. The team from Tumai all work very hard throughout the year by offering a variety of patient care. This was a rare opportunity for us all to come together and just ‘be’. Pamela offers a warm and caring environment, and this chance to just relax and ‘be’ is so important. We all had recharged our “batteries” by the end of the day.
The food too is excellent; any special food requests were incorporated into the menu. The facility which has spiritually breath taking views also offered us all great facials and foot massages and also the chance to enjoy becoming creative – we all really enjoyed the painting and drawing session with Yvonne.
‘The Woolshed’ had spaces where we could stay together as a group if we wished or find cosy places to chill out alone, and I expect, if weather permits, to walk in the nearby bush.
Practical help and therapies that can assist in living a positive life with breast cancer can be a rare opportunity for some. The experience of a day at Pamela’s “Woolshed” however addresses that imbalance with genuine finesse and dignity.
